Vitor Roque sentenced in Barcelona

The situation of Vitor Roque at FC Barcelona is getting complicated. The young Brazilian forward arrived with high expectations and the hope of impressing the new coach, Hansi Flick, during the preseason. However, the decisions of the German coach have made it clear that Roque is not part of his short-term plans.

In the first friendly match against Manchester City, Flick fielded Vitor Roque on the wing, a position that is not the most comfortable for him. The result was a modest performance that failed to convince the coach or the fans. In the following game, the Clásico against Real Madrid, Roque started on the bench and only had 15 minutes to prove his worth on the field, insufficient time to make a significant impact.

Short on support at Barcelona

Hansi Flick seems to have a clear vision of his playing strategy, in which there is only room for a natural center forward: Robert Lewandowski. The possibility of Vitor Roque adapting to play as a winger is something the coach has already ruled out, thus limiting the Brazilian's opportunities in the team. In contrast, Pau Víctor, a young promise who arrived this summer from Girona, has impressed during the preseason and seems to have secured a place in the main squad, further complicating Roque's situation.

As reported by 'Sport', the Barcelona board is already considering the possibility of finding an exit for Vitor Roque before the end of the summer transfer window. Despite his talent, the lack of opportunities and Flick's preference for other players leave the club with no choice but to consider a permanent transfer. The team's tour in the United States could be decisive, but discussions to find the best solution are already underway. In the coming days, it will be known if the club manages to receive a suitable offer that benefits all parties. Time is running out, and Vitor Roque's future seems to be drifting further away from Camp Nou.
