Javi Galán is living his last months as a footballer for Atlético de Madrid. The left-back, who arrived at the Metropolitano with great expectations, has not been able to show the form that made him one of the most eye-catching players in LaLiga.

Javi Galán's story at Atlético de Madrid was never accompanied by the continuity he needed. Despite his offensive qualities, competition and lack of confidence took their toll.

With a contract until June, Javi Galán is approaching the final stretch of his time as a colchonero. Everything indicates he will leave on a free transfer and seek a new destination to regain prominence.

At Huesca, Javi Galán established himself as a full-back with great stamina and a capacity to surprise on the wing. His performances attracted interest from various teams, leading him to make the definitive leap.

Subsequently, Javi Galán shone at Celta de Vigo. There, he demonstrated a consistency that made him one of the best left-backs in the league, convincing Atlético de Madrid to bet on him.

Javi Galán will depart Atlético de Madrid

However, he never fully established himself at the Metropolitano. Javi Galán had flashes of quality, but struggled to secure a fixed place in Cholo Simeone's plans.

The demands of the colchonero system posed a challenge for Javi Galán. A player more accustomed to joining the attack encountered difficulties adapting to a team with different tactical priorities.

The future of Javi Galán is generating excitement. At 30 years old, he still has the potential and experience to strengthen many clubs seeking talent and expertise on the left side.

The prospect of acquiring Javi Galán as a free agent enhances his appeal in the market. His cost-free departure will be an opportunity for several LaLiga teams and also abroad.

In the meantime, Javi Galán seeks to make the most of every minute at Atlético de Madrid. His goal is to bid farewell with good impressions and return to being the standout player who once caught everyone's attention.
