The project led by Cesc Fàbregas at Como 1907 continues to establish itself as one of the most exciting in Italian football. After a brilliant campaign in Serie A, where the team surprised everyone with a notable tenth-place finish in their return to the elite, the Catalan coach's ambition knows no bounds. The former midfielder of Arsenal and Barcelona has built a team with identity, based on young talent and guided by the experience of veterans committed to the cause.
Players like Nico Paz or Assane Diao have flourished under Fàbregas' direction, while figures like Pepe Reina (already retired) and Sergi Roberto have been vital in maintaining stability at crucial moments of the season. With a well-defined transfer policy and a direct connection with FC Barcelona, reflected in the arrival of Álex Valle, Fàbregas is determined to continue strengthening the team with top-tier names.
He has requested the signing of Álvaro Morata
As reported by the newspaper Sport, the latest desire of the coach from Arenys de Mar is none other than Álvaro Morata. According to Turkish media, the Madrid-born forward, currently on loan at Galatasaray from AC Milan, could seriously consider the possibility of joining the Lombard club. Although his contractual situation ties him to the Turkish team until January 2026, Como's interest is firm, and the player's willingness will be crucial in any operation.
Fàbregas knows Morata well, as they coincided in both the Spanish national team and Chelsea, where they won the FA Cup together in 2018. This personal relationship could be decisive in securing a signing that would bring a quality leap to the squad. For the Catalan coach, Morata would fit perfectly into his football model and provide the necessary experience to face new challenges. Como dreams big, and Morata could be the next step on that path.
