Optimism in London Regarding Real Madrid's Stance

In the offices of **Arsenal**, it is known that there are no scheduled discussions between **Real Madrid** and the attacker's surroundings to progress in his renewal. Florentino Pérez's leadership believes that the proposed contract offer is final and will not increase the figures presented.

Facing the risk that the player enters the final year of his contract—which expires in **June 2027**—and could sign a pre-contract in **January** to leave with a free transfer, the Spanish board prioritizes negotiating a transfer this summer.

Strategy Awaiting the Definitive Signal

The coaching staff led by Mikel Arteta believes that signing the winger would provide a differential jump in quality for the squad. While the British entity has not initiated direct club-to-club contacts, the **gunner** board has the financial infrastructure ready to present a formal proposal as soon as the player's entourage confirms his final decision not to extend his contract in Spain.

The player is expected to return to **Real Madrid** training this Monday, **August 3, 2026**. If the contract extension is not signed by that date, **Arsenal** will send the written offer to formalize the transfer in this transfer window.
