Real Madrid rules out signing a player requested by Xabi Alonso

Real Madrid has made a key decision in their summer planning: Angelo Stiller will not be wearing white. Despite reports linking him as a possible solution to the void left by Luka Modric and previously by Toni Kroos, the Merengue board has chosen not to pursue negotiations with the German midfielder from Stuttgart, thus closing a door that seemed open.

The transition in the midfield is still incomplete. Although the investments made in Jude Bellingham, Aurélien Tchouaméni, and Eduardo Camavinga aimed to ensure a generational shift, the results have not been as convincing as expected. While Bellingham shines near the opponent's area, the French duo has not yet managed to replicate the authority with which Kroos and Modric dictated the tempo of the game.

With names like Enzo Fernández, Rodri, or Mac Allister on the wish list, the major obstacle remains the cost. The club is not willing to make a significant investment this summer, especially in a position where profiles ensuring immediate impact are scarce. This caution could further complicate the start of a season in which the team aims to maintain its dominance in Europe.
